ONE IMAGE CHARITY
Last month I met fellow Art Producer Christopher Benton at an A76 Productions screening of “Get The Thing” in the East Village. Christopher is an LSU grad and spent 4 years as an Art Producer at LyonHeart working on pharmaceutical advertising. He is knee deep in producing next week’s final silent auction event for the One Image Charity.
One Image was founded by John Kunichika, Stephan Moskovic and Keiko Shimizu. Their motto is “WIth just one image you can help better the lives of children…” Their website has a list of all the participating photographers and reps, a few of the photos from the auction are below. The online portion of the auction started January 15th and will end on May 25th so you still have time to bid online. The final silent auction event will be next week, here are the details:
Thursday, May 28th, 6pm to 10pm
Jack Studios, 601 W. 26th St., 12th floor, New York, NY 10001
RSVP: rsvp@oneimagecharity.com
Proceeds from the sale of the photographs and limited prints will go directly to making a difference in the lives of children in the Philippines and Haiti, all proceeds go to Little Children of the World. One Image has a Facebook Group that you can join to spread the word. After the event when Christopher has time to breathe he will fill us in on how the auction went.
